Service Area Settings

Your service area tells Fixly where you work. This helps screen calls from outside your coverage zone.

Setting Your Service Area

Go to Settings

Find Service Area

Enter your city or ZIP code

Select the radius you cover

Choose how far you travel:

5 miles — Dense urban area

10 miles — Suburban (default)

15 miles — Wider suburban

20 miles — Rural or willing to travel

When a caller provides their address:

Inside service area:

Fixly proceeds with booking normally

Outside service area:

"We currently serve the [City] area. Would you like a recommendation for someone in your area?"

Currently, Fixly supports one service area. If you serve multiple distinct areas, set the radius to cover them, or choose the primary location.

If you move or expand:

Go to Settings → Service Area

Clear the current location

Enter the new city/ZIP

Adjust radius as needed

Changes take effect immediately for new calls.

When someone calls from outside your area:

Fixly politely explains the limitation

Offers to take their info (in case you expand)

Can route to a partner if you have Fixly Assist job network enabled
