How Calls Work

When a customer calls your Fixly number, here's exactly what happens:

The Call Flow

1. Instant Answer


Fixly picks up within 2 rings with a greeting like:
"Hi, thanks for calling [Your Business Name]. How can I help you today?"

2. Understanding the Request


Fixly listens to what the caller needs and asks follow-up questions:
  • What type of service they need (drain cleaning, AC repair, etc.)

  • Their name and callback number

  • Their address or service location

  • When they'd like the appointment
  • 3. Checking Availability


    Fixly looks at your Google Calendar in real-time:
  • Finds open slots that match your business hours

  • Avoids conflicts with existing events

  • Offers the caller 2-3 time options
  • 4. Booking the Job


    If the caller accepts a time:
  • Fixly creates a calendar event with all the details

  • Confirms the booking with the caller

  • You receive an SMS notification instantly
  • 5. Wrapping Up


    Fixly thanks the caller and ends professionally:
    "Great, you're all set for Tuesday at 2 PM. [Business Name] will see you then!"

    What If They Don't Book?

    Not every call results in a booking. Fixly handles these scenarios:
