Missed Calls

Even with Fixly, some calls may not result in a booking. Here's how to handle them.

Why Calls Get "Missed"

A call is logged as missed when:

  • Caller hangs up before Fixly can help

  • Technical issue during the call

  • Caller decides not to book
  • Where to Find Missed Calls

  • Go to Conversations

  • Filter by Missed or No Booking

  • See caller details and partial transcript
  • Following Up

    For missed calls with caller info:

  • Note the phone number

  • Call back or send SMS

  • "Hi, this is [Name] from [Business]. I see you called earlier — how can I help?"
  • Missed Call Notifications

    If enabled, you'll receive:

  • SMS alert for each missed call

  • Caller's phone number

  • Time of call
  • Reducing Missed Calls

    Tips to convert more calls:

    Answer Faster


    Fixly answers within 2 rings, but verify your forwarding doesn't add delay.

    Offer More Options


    If fully booked, enable partner routing so callers get helped.

    Extend Hours


    Consider wider business hours to capture early/late callers.

    Analyzing Patterns

    Review your missed calls weekly:

  • Time patterns (always at lunch?)

  • Day patterns (Mondays busy?)

  • Reason patterns (price questions?)
  • Adjust your setup accordingly.
