Call Handling Modes

Fixly offers three modes for handling incoming calls. Choose the one that fits your workflow.

Fixly Answers Every Call

Best for: Pros who want 100% coverage

Every call to your Fixly number goes directly to the AI. This ensures:

  • Zero missed calls

  • Consistent experience for every caller

  • You're never interrupted on a job
  • Fixly as Backup

    Best for: Pros who want to answer when available

    Calls ring your personal phone first. If you don't answer within a few rings, Fixly picks up.

    How to set this up:

  • Forward your main business number to your Fixly number

  • Set your phone to ring 3-4 times before forwarding

  • Answer when you can; Fixly catches the rest
  • You Answer Every Call

    Best for: Temporarily disabling Fixly

    All calls ring through to you directly. Fixly doesn't answer.

    Use this when:

  • You're available all day

  • You want to handle calls personally

  • Troubleshooting an issue
  • Changing Modes

  • Open Settings in the Fixly app

  • Find Call Handling

  • Select your preferred mode

  • Changes take effect immediately
  • Mode Indicators

    In Settings, you'll see:

  • 🟢 Active — Fixly is answering calls

  • 🔵 Backup — Fixly answers if you don't

  • Off — You're handling all calls
  • Recommendations
