If your payment was declined, here's how to resolve it.

Why Payments Fail

Common reasons:

  • Insufficient funds

  • Card expired

  • Bank fraud protection triggered

  • Incorrect card details

  • Card issuer declined (contact your bank)
  • How to Fix It

    Update Your Card


  • Go to BillingPayment Methods

  • Click Update Card

  • Enter new card details

  • Try the purchase again
  • Contact Your Bank


    If the card should work:
  • Call the number on your card

  • Ask about the declined transaction

  • They may need to approve it manually
  • What Happens During a Decline

  • The Fuel purchase doesn't go through

  • Your balance stays the same

  • You're notified via email

  • Service continues (we don't cut you off immediately)
  • Retry Timing

    After a decline:

  • You can retry immediately with a different card

  • Automatic retry happens after 24 hours

  • After 3 failures, we'll email you
  • Preventing Declines

  • Keep your card details up to date

  • Enable auto-refill with a reliable card

  • Add a backup payment method

  • Whitelist Fixly with your bank
  • Low Balance Warning

    To avoid payment issues:

  • Enable low balance alerts

  • Set up auto-refill

  • Keep a buffer of 10+ Fuel
