Follow-Up Reminders

Fixly can automatically send SMS reminders to customers before their appointments, reducing no-shows and keeping your schedule on track.

How It Works

When a job is booked, Fixly schedules reminder messages:

| Timing | Message |
|--------|---------|
| 24 hours before | Appointment reminder with date/time |
| 2 hours before | "On the way" notification |

Enabling Reminders

  • Go to Settings

  • Find Fixly AssistFollow-Up Reminders

  • Toggle On
  • That's it — reminders are now automatic for all new bookings.

    What Customers Receive

    24-Hour Reminder:

    "Hi [Name], this is a reminder that [Business] has you scheduled for [Service] tomorrow at [Time]. Reply YES to confirm or call us to reschedule."

    2-Hour Reminder:

    "Your technician from [Business] is on the way and should arrive around [Time]. See you soon!"

    Customer Responses

    If a customer replies:

  • YES — Confirmation logged, no action needed

  • Need to reschedule — You're notified in the app

  • Cancel — You're notified immediately
  • Customization

    Currently, reminder timing and wording are standard. Custom templates coming soon.
